Why Botanic Row exists
Most people who buy a houseplant end up putting it in whatever container is nearest. The plant survives. The room doesn't change. We started Botanic Row because the container is doing more work than it gets credit for — it sets the height, the colour and the weight of everything growing in it.
What we stock
We carry a single, tightly edited range of planters and plant stands from Nkuku, a Devon-based homeware brand. Reactive-glazed ceramics, raw hand-coiled clay, hand-etched aluminium, reclaimed iron and weathering zinc. Nothing is printed with a logo. Nothing is designed to be replaced next season.
We would rather stock forty things we can describe accurately than four hundred we cannot.
How we describe things
Every dimension, material and finish on this site comes from the manufacturer's own specification. If a pot has a drainage hole, we say so. If it is frost proof, we say so. If we don't know something, we leave it out rather than guess.
How we sell
- Free UK delivery on every order, by Royal Mail
- 3–6 business days from order to doorstep (1–2 days handling, 2–4 days in transit)
- 14 days to change your mind, with a prepaid return label already in the box
- No restocking fee, ever — and we pay the return postage
- Refunds within 5 business days of your return reaching us
